It's been so long :( I'm so sorry about that!
In the last few months I've been busy with working, etc....and I haven't been able to find the time to get on here much! Trying to get caught up for a 3 month leave is difficult!
In the last month, I was thrown 2 baby showers. My family threw me one and my work threw me the other. I feel so loved when I see how many people really care enough to make the time to go, as well as supporting us in helping Alex's supply grow. We went from having no baby boy clothes to hopefully enough to get us through these first few months! We've got our "big" items we needed, and are stocking up now on diapers, wipes, etc....but people are so amazing. :) Sometimes you can go around feeling like no one cares about you....but that's certainly not a complaint I can muster :) Not after the love people have shown us! We are so very appreciative of everyone in our lives....and sooon I will be sending out the Thank You cards! Promise!
There's been alot going on....but for now....I just feel so blessed and wanted to share that.
P.S. We're 36 weeks today....so be praying for us because it's getting close! You'd think after having Maleah it would feel more real...but it doesn't. I STILL can't imagine having a newborn in the house! Can't imagine having a baby boy....getting to lose sleep all over again...getting time off with them....I'm so excited and scared! :) I can't even IMAGINE how many times he's going to pee on me! :)
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 2 Thes. 5:16-18

Some Quick Updates!
Sorry it's been SOOOO long since I got on here. I know people are wondering about how things are going...
We had a huge virus hit us at work...so our computers were down and now we're on a "lockdown" type mode. I don't feel comfortable getting on my blog at lunch or anything...so if it's not the Gazette's website...I'm not on it! Sorry for that because my time at home has been pretty limited too!
Bob's job is fine as far as we know. He said some people are still finding out here and there that they've lost theirs. He's heard nothing so far so we assume he's safe. Thank you all for your prayers! :)
Maleah is fantastic! She's 2 now of course. We had her birthday, and then little Corbin arrived on Kaitlyn's party day :) It was a hectic January, but things have calmed down since :) I'm done working Saturdays and am currently still working 5 days, hoping to get it down to 4 for a few weeks before our little Alex arrives. Maleah needs some "Me & Mommmy" days :) I miss those Fridays off with her :( Hopefully they come again soon.
She peed in the potty Friday night :) She's not potty trained, but I'm so proud of her for recognizing that she needed to go, and then going, even though some ran down her leg and she said she had to "poop". :) She's getting to be such a big girl!!!
Alex is doing well too. He moves around so strong in there! Sometimes it takes me off guard. It's such a blessing. This has been a much easier pregnancy than with Maleah. I'm sure Bob's thankful...I can still put on my own socks and shoes :) He was doing it for me long before this point with Maleah because of all the swelling. I'm almost 34 weeks...Maleah came at 38....it's SO CLOSE!!!! Keep us in your prayers that everything falls together in the next month. I've requested 12 weeks at work for maternity leave...and I'm not 100% sure if I was granted that or not...so pray that I get my time to spend with my babies :)
We taught 4-5 year olds for the month of February during worship....have to say though I love those kids...I'm glad that is over for a few months! Talk about EXHAUSTING!
I'm pretty sure that's a small taste of everything. Oh, and my dad helped paint and do Alex's room....He painted the George's for us to put on the walls...he is so awesome!!!!! :)

Christmas....
My boss and I were talking a few days ago about all the nostalgia associated with Christmas. It seems like everyone has things that they do or watch or listen to that take them back to their fondest memories of Christmas.
My biggest one is The Oak Ridge Boys Christmas albums. My mom and dad would always play their songs on Christmas morning while we were opening our gifts. Every year, right before Christmas, it is a MUST to listen to those songs! Happy Christmas Eve, Christmas Carol, It's Christmas....these are some of the songs that I hear and it immediately takes me back to home as a child. I remember sitting in the living room at night with all the lights off and the tree lit, just enjoying the moment. Christmas is by far the most wonderful time of the year....it's definately the most magical.
I also have to watch a Charlie Brown Christmas, Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman and even Garfield Christmas (It was on ABC Family last night actually). These were some of the most watched shows in our house. We also would sit in the living room and listen to the Scooby Doo Christmas on the stereo as well as the songs about Mixie-Pixie, I'm Gettin' Nothin' for Christmas, Alvin & the Chipmunks, etc. These were routine things we did almost every year.
I think of these every year, and still try to watch and listen to all I can that takes me back to those days. Not that I can complain about these days...we'll create memories for Maleah and Alex that I hope they will carry with them throughout their lives as well.
:) Merry Christmas! :)

I'm a Delong!
It's showing! I'm a Delong! I sit here, 27 years old, and this weekend I found a total of 8...yes EIGHT...gray hairs! I pulled them all. Don't tell me more will grow either! I debunked that. If that were true...older people wouldn't go bald! They'd be yanking those babies out to grow more hair! :)
All 8 hairs were on the right side of my head, too. I thought that was interesting. We'll call that "the Bob side" of my head ;)
Since Maleah won't call me Mommy, we'll just have to get her to start calling me Grandma instead :) hehe
I atleast crack myself up!

Today
Today I got to have lunch with a fantastic friend. I never take a lunch...and it was nice to take the time to spend just me and her.
I hope to do it again soon :)

Bye, Bye....Mustache????
I have been wanting to blog on this all week, and no, it's not about Tom Selleck, if that's what you were thinking (which I doubt you were because that is just on an episode of Friends when "Richard" shaves off his mustache....wow, I can't believe I just typed that nonsense). Reminds me of a confession....another post....in a minute :)
Ok, back to the mustache....
My dad has shaved off his mustache! That is the FIRST time I've seen that upper lip...EVER! It's a little pale and needs a tan :)
After 35 years....the mustache is gone!
WOW! THAT is dedicated facial hair! Well....until it starts to turn white! How dedicated could it possibly be then???
Ok. I'm leaving now!

10 Years....
Today it has been 10 years since the day I met Bob. We met at my school dance, he had JUST broken up with his girlfriend and went with a friend of his. It was 70's retro and we got beaded necklaces. They were really cheap but I still have them. He gave me his that night :) We did the electric slide and about every other type of line dancing we could do (not by choice....) and we got to dance one slow song....and when I met him he introduced himself by shaking my hand. That impressed me!
I had to get his number from Laura and it was ME that called HIM after the dance. But thank goodness I did! I don't know what I'd do without him!
10 years.....WOW!.....It seems like a small amount of time and a large amount all at the same time.
Bob,
It's been 10 years since I met you....and I still not only love you more and more ...I like you! You're my best friend and I'm so grateful that we are together. Thanks for being you. :)

Tuesday
Thanksgiving...
It's coming upon Thanksgiving (2 wonderfully short days away!) and I have heard many people request "What are YOU thankful for?"
There are so many things....and it's so hard to pick just one thing. The Lord, aBob (the "a" was a type-O, but I had to leave it in there) ;), Maleah, family, church family, friends, my job, my house, my food and clothing, my transportation....the list goes on and on. They may be obvious, sure, but I am no less thankful for these things.
One thing I am very thankful for is trials. Yep. That's right. I am thankful for the hard times in my life. Am I crazy? Possibly. But not about this. Blessings are nice, absolutely, but I feel that the trials we go through make the blessings we receive so much sweeter. If we never had to go through trials, we would not recognize blessings when we receive them.
Thank you, Lord, for sending trials my way. I hope they are handled in a way that is pleasing in your sight. Strengthen me for the next, Lord, though I can't see it, I know it will come.

Today....
Today I am feeling very happy and excited. I have a wonderful husband, amazing daughter, awesome family, great friends, a fantastic church family, a great job, Thanksgiving is next week, I have vacation the week after that, then comes the Singing Christmas Tree, and we'll be right in the heart of the Christmas Season! I am fired up for our Christmas this year, moreso than any other. This Christmas will make up for the last 2. Bring on the holidays!

Answered Prayer
We've been praying, and praying, and praying and praying....
and crying, and crying, and crying....
and waiting and waiting....
Our prayers were answered yesterday! Rick, Kathy and Greg were back! Oh, man, I was SOOOO excited, and still am. It was the highlight of my week! (Aside from Maleah!) When we lost Emily, these were some of the first people that we heard from, from Greg's initial phone call on the machine, to Rick and Kathy's flowers, to the visits, the cards, the hugs, the prayers...They saw our pain and were there for us. When we were hurting and waiting to get pregnant again, they prayed. They had the class pray, and remembered us and were faithful in their prayers, and God heard them. We got pregnant. When I was fearful of losing another baby...they were there. They had the entire class pray around me in my fear providing me comfort and reminding me that God hears our prayers and He is in control.
These are some of the most loving people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, and I am grateful that they are in my life. Welcome back!
Thank you Lord!!!

Now, we're waiting on another prayer to be answered. We need to continue to pray that one of these houses will sell! My mom and dad have worked too hard to have such a heavy burden resting on their shoulders. They are the 2 most wonderful people in the world and they NEED one of them to sell ASAP. All prayers are accepted!

I just love them so much. Bob is so awesome. He's my best friend, husband, protector, confidant, everything. Maleah is the greatest baby in the entire world, the most beautiful little girl, the most wonderful daughter in the entire world. I love them more than words can say.

Friends!
Nope, not the TV show. Shocking, I know!
I love my friends. I don't have a ton of them...but the ones that I do have are awesome. Friends are very amazing. They laugh with you, cry with you, and when you're having a rough time...they are there for you. I have amazing friends...I don't know what I would do without them!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
P.S. I also love "Friends". Have all 10 seasons on DVD. There's no better night spent than pizza and "Friends" with Bob...We have our favorite episodes we watch over and over again...
"The one that could have been"
"The one with Rachel's assistant"
"The one where they're up all night"
Just to name a few! :) If you haven't watched it you should. If you have, then watch it again! Just for fun! Bec's family and Bob and myself are the only Friends Freaks I know! :)
Monday
Matt & Chelsea
After many, many, MANY long years...it has finally happened! Matt and Chelsea are MARRIED!!!!!! Sometimes I think Bob and I have waited as long as they have for this moment! It was so incredible to see their lives change before my very eyes. Not that alot will. Their house has always been THEIR house. Decisions THEIR decisions. Not alot will be different for them. But there's something so amazing about calling someone your spouse that I just can't explain. They're awesome people. Totally amazing. I stood there as they got married Saturday (Maleah sleeping in my arms) and watched Bob as the best man as they went through the ceremony. I listened to every word (that I could hear, the fans were too loud at first) and thought of Bob and myself...and how all those vows spoken still apply to us today. He is my husband, but he is also my best friend. I caught him looking at me too, and knew he was listening and thinking of me. How far we've come in 6 years of marriage...how our relationship has grown, and our bond with one another tightened. We are now responsible for the beautiful baby girl I was holding in my arms. God is good. He is SO good.
Saturday was a very popular wedding day (7/7/07), but when I look back, I won't remember that. I'll remember them. Their joy. Their happiness. Their comfort. And just remember that THEIR time finally came. And that Matt danced. Wow! I couldn't believe that! :)
Matt...Chelsea...Congratulations! We love you guys!
